I think this process is a good thing for me as I learn best by doing, especially anything that has to do with technology. The only downside for me is the lack telecommuting option for doing this project. As a librarian sub I'm not frequently in or near a Sno-Isle library branch yet I do have wireless internet access from home and internet access at my other job.
